Why I am Blushing

This post of mine is quite hilarious! You are free to laugh it out. It’s just that I need to share this. I actually have this close gay friend, Lee. I think we have developed this friendship that is why we treat each other as if we are real sisters. Could you imagine one day she(?) even ask me to check out and know more about male enhancement reviews, X4 labs extender review and penis enlargement reviews? Hey, I know I am already married but….Can you imagine me blushing now? Okay I think she made her point about taking these things in a rather mature manner.

Let's play domino

Small Business Loan On the Go!

It was always been my dream to have a business should I give up my current job. I really want to have an Internet Café in a strategic location – probably near universities or the market. But then of course, we would need a capital for this business. I was overly happy to know that there are some companies that can help you put up your own business like America One Unsecured. This company has made the process and the requirements easy so that you can get small business loans in a snap.

You see, you can actually get loans even without any collateral. They also cater for any business type so no need to worry if you are a single proprietor, partnership or even a corporation. Would you believe that you can even get your small business loan even if you do not have a business license? Definitely, you can! I know we are thrilled to know about these facts. I, for one is quite excited. Imagine, should I want to make that dream come true, it would be quite easy and fast because of America One Secured. Now, do you think it is high time to put up my own business and use a little help with those small business loans?

My Big Love

I watched the movie yesterday with hubby. As usual, I was so kilig the whole time (babaw ko lang kasi). I am not a fan of Toni Gonzaga but I think she can really make you laugh and at the same time fall in love again. I would not write about what happened in the movie but definitely it is one of those feel good movies that would help you forget your stress for awhile (at least for 2 hours, lols).

Also I noticed that most of the scenes were shot at Pampanga particularly at Stotsenberg Hotel in Clark. Another thing that I loved about the movie is its theme song - If Ever You're in My Arms Again. Hubby even mentioned that he would sing this song on Saturday(we would attend a despedida party). Kaso inunahan ko na si hubby sa pagkanta ng song - sung it kanina at the videoke at work (kahit boses palaka).

Banana Leaf

I finally tasted the great Malaysian cuisine at Banana Leaf at Greenbelt. Hubby dragged me to Greenbelt just to make me taste these great dishes from Banana Leaf. Just so you know, every time hubby has a meeting with their EDM, they always turn to this restaurant for their lunch - suki na nga raw sila. Unfortunately, I seldom go to that area na since I am based in Pampanga so all I know is that the food there is really delicious as per hubby and then read so much about the restaurant din from the blog of Jane.

I am not really prepared for our food trip at Greenbelt. I even asked hubby if we are really going there and he said "Yes, para maiba naman palagi na lang tayo SM at Robinsons Pampanga." And so we went to Greenbelt. And since I am not really prepared, I haven't brought our so old camcorder and forgot my cellphone at home (naku! sakit ko na talga to, grrr!). All we have left is hubby's phone which was by the way low bat na and so he needs to reserve the remaining charge for some business related SMS or calls. So in short, no snap shots of the lunch we had at Banana Leaf. Hubby promised me anyway that this would not be the last.

We ordered roti canai with curry dip. This is just like the pita bread(of shawarma) but this one is rather flaky and crispy on the outside. It was best eaten with the curry dip and also delicious with condensed milk (I tried this at home - nag take out pa kami). Then we sampled the grilled deep sea fish with a special spice paste that is like shrimp paste (but this really has a rather exotic and I think Malaysian taste) and wrapped in banana leaf. Then we also tried the lamb dish that has grated coconut - I loooove this one! We also sampled the thai iced tea. You see I love nai cha of Chowking so naturally, I also fell in love with their thai iced tea (read: I love milk tea so much!).

Definitely, Banana Leaf would be included in the will-visit-it-again list of restaurants!

My Own Freaky Friday

Actually, it is a Freaky Saturday in my case! Have you watched this movie? If not then I am very much willing to give you the plot of the movie. It is a Lindsay Lohan's movie. She is a teenager who does not understand her mom. Her mom is a single parent raising two kids, maintaining a good career and worrying of mortgage. In the movie, the teenager Lohan switched role with the mom and vice versa and it is in this point that realization came to both of them.

So you see, this is quite a bit like my experience last Saturday. Hubby is in sales while I am working in a call center. My world is the office, the mall and the house. His is quite different - a world that I have never been into. Of course, I do understand his job but it really takes to experience it so that you would really get to know it. So last Saturday, he asked me to go with him to his presentations at Olongapo. Of course, I said "yes" - who would not if you were not with your husband for 4 days(they had a convention at Tagaytay) and if he goes home late at night just to reach his quota for the month. I thought things would be easy. So when we reached Olongapo at about 1 pm, we just dropped by on their branch office and then went straight to the client. He had a presentation in a construction site and boy, they do not even have a roof. He was really sweating while presenting while I stayed at the back with my umbrella. Personally, I could not stand his job.

Then the other presentation is with a cooperative in Olongapo. The board members were having their meeting and unfortunately, they haven't followed the agenda. They started late and now, we need to wait before they call hubby for the presentation. I waited with him together with his agents for about 2 hours or more, really I could not care anymore since I am already on the realization mode. It is just that we traveled all the way from Pampanga to Olongapo(what more pa ung sa Tuguegarao branch nila), had a tiring presentation in a construction site and now we're waiting for the time they would call us for the presentation because of an unforeseen event that is out of our control. You see, sometimes I get to confront hubby about giving me more time, about going home late or about going out of town for days and so many more that I just don't have any idea how hard it is to be in his shoes.

I am just so happy that in my own version of Freaky Friday, I haven't switched role with hubby. Really, I think I could not make it in sales - it's enough that I had a feel of it for a day. It is just after spending a day with his job that I came to love my husband more (syemps love ko naman talga sya kahit before Saturday pa noh) and that I get to really appreciate all his hard work just to give me and our soon-to-be little angel (sana very soon na) a better future. Uhmmm, could this just be hubby's way of telling me that I need to take it easy the next time he goes home late because of work? Uh-oh, we'll see. I am not yet promising anything but I came to really appreciate him the more seeing him work to death just for a better life for us. Thanks, hon!

Last Weekend...

...we attended Aira and Fourth's wedding. Aira is the cousin of Vox. Oh, she and her sisters have been part of our life when we were still leaving in Manila. They are like real sisters to us and we had so many damn good memories with these gals.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gonzalo Baltazar IV

Payday Loan Comes Handy After All the Holidays

February is the month right after all the holidays, which is after all the skyrocketing spendings you have made. Of course after Christmas as well as New Year and Valentine’s Day, you cannot help but check on your finances. It is really frustrating to see your credit card balance reaching hundreds or thousands of dollars in just a short time after the holidays. And not to mention that you still have other expenses that you are paying for your household.

If you are an employee like me, you find more ways to stretch the worth of each pay check considering all these expenses. Good thing there are payday loans that can help us in this matter. If you think that you need emergency cash to meet all your expenses, then you can always turn to good cash advance from trusted companies who just know about your needs- and of course that company would be spelled out as Trust Source.

You can get easy and convenient approval and get the payday loan you need right on time with Trust Source. And so to help you better, they are also offering payment schemes that are flexible enough based on your capacity to pay. Now you can stop worrying about the expenses. You can have more cash even before the next pay check comes.

How Many Circle of Friends Do You Have?

This one was from Nancy and Jean. Thanks sisses!

Anger is only one letter short of danger
If someone betrays you once, it is his fault;
If he betrays you twice, it is your fault.
Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people.
He, who loses money, loses much;
He, who loses a friend, loses much more;
He, who loses faith, loses all.
Beautiful young people are accidents of nature,
But beautiful old people are works of art.
Learn from the mistakes of others
You can't live long enough to make them all yourself.
Friends, you and me...
You brought another friend...
And then there were 3...
We started our group...
Our circle of friends...
And like that circle...
There is no beginning or end...
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is mystery.
Today is a gift.

So now, let's see how many circle's of friends we can make by simply adding your link on this Friendship Meme!

Hearts Day

Okay, looks like I am the last blogger to write about how we spend the V day. So here it goes...

It was never been a tradition for us to celebrate it on the exact day. It's either before or after February 14. I took a leave on the 13th. Of course not because we would celebrate Valentine's Day but because I need to do another ultrasound. That same night hubby also asked me out for dinner. Nothing fancy really - just had a simple dinner at Gerry's Grill. We do not want to check out other restaurants that is why we settled for any decent place inside the mall to dine in. Basically, the main reason is that we need to get to the movie house for the last full show of -- (brace yourself, you might end up laughing kasi corny) My Bestfriend's Girlfriend, heheheh! Of course, this is my choice. I really love watching romantic, mushy and funny Tagalog movies (kahit corny pa). Good thing my husband can stand watching them, too (as if he has a choice, heheh).

The celebration actually did not end on February 13 nor on the 14th. We also checked in at King's Royal Hotel on the 16th. It so happened that Vox's cousin, Aira is having the wedding in that venue and she wants us to stay (very) late for the party. We decided to check in the hotel na din to continue our V Day celebration as well as to unwind over the weekend.

You see, everyday is a V Day so lets just keep that love burnin'

at Kings Royal

Getting Hooked with Pool and Billiards

Yep hubby is getting hooked with these games. That should be fine by the way but the only problem is that he wants to tag me along every time he wants to play billiards or pool. I am not really complaining but going to and from the billiards sports house is really tiring.

Thanks to! It’s really heaven sent. Now hubby could conveniently play online pool anytime while I could stay at home and rest. Aside from playing 8 ball and 9 ball, he can even enjoy pool games and snooker. I even heard from hubby that their technical support is really the best. Now I could definitely support hubby with his new hobby.

Thanks Eds!

Why God Made Friends
God made the world with a heart full of love
Then He looked down from heaven above
And saw that we all need a helping hand
Someone to share with, who`ll understand
He made special people to see us through
In times of happiness and in sadness
A person whom we can always depend

Someone we can call a friend...

A year older...

Not me but my mother. She just turned 50 years old (but not yet old). We just had a simple celebration at our house in Sto. Tomas. I bought her a bouquet of roses(handed by the apos) and her eldest grandchild (Zandro, 7 years old) bought her cake. Zandro really insisted on buying my mother a cake. He saves up on his allowance just to give her Mommy Dess a birthday cake - such a thoughtful kid! I think that made my mom the more teary eyed yesterday while we gathered around and sung her a happy birthday.

Here is something about my mother..

Dess, Todik, Lourdes or Mommy Dess has faced the joys and hardships of married life at the age of 18. Though she married young, she had given us the love and care of a perfect mother. She is the typical housewife. So when we were kids - she was the one who woke us early in the morning so that we can catch our school service. She was the one who prepared our breakfast, fix our hair and prepared our baon everyday. And when we were in college, she cooked our favorite dishes during the weekends because she knows that we would all be home. She was and still is a total hands-on mom for the 4 of us.

When we all got married (our bunso is the only one who is still single), she was the first one who cried and became happy at the same time because she knows that her kids are already grown ups and could decide on their own. Though we already have our own family and live on our own, she is still the first one who can sense that something is wrong (She just can feel it in your tone of voice as well as see through your eyes). She just knows when to talk to us and how to talk to us.

As a wife, she had her moments. The love she has given my father is rather an exceptional one. She is no martyr but she just knows when to draw the line.

There are just so many things that she has done and sacrificed for us that writing them all is not enough. (sniff)

To the woman who build the very person in me…. Happy 50th Birthday, Ma!

We would always remember that genuine happiness we saw in your eyes yesterday.

It's All About Online Casino Reviews...

It’s amazing how life right now becomes so easy. If you want to shop, you just click that mouse a bit and sure you can shop online. Then if you want to earn, there are so many online businesses. That is why when my Uncle Eddie went to our place for a short vacation and he complained of being bored at home, I just said that why don’t he try checking out online casino. Yep, he loves casinos and it is the best past time to keep him enjoying his stay at our place.

Uncle Eddie is just but new to online casino that is why I asked him first to take a peek of online casino reviews at Pro360. It is very remarkable how this site focuses on giving casino players tips and advises. These information should really be disclosed to new or veteran online casino addicts so that they are assured that there would be fairness on these online casinos. They also give reviews about the customer service of each casino. I think Uncle Eddie needs to know those info first before he take online casino as his hobby while he is still at our place. Pro360’s tips would surely make his online gaming experience enjoyable!

Trying to Conceive 101

I (that means me minus hubby) went to the OB for the start of a brand new work up. Hubby has an important appointment - he could not just cancel that this time but that is very much ok with me. As I said in my previous post, we would start back at zero and go through another work up with a new OB gynecologist. You see I was quite prepared this time. I got to the hospital at 10:45 am and then checked my number. I make it a point to call before the actual check up so that I would get a good slot (a.k.a. palista). When I saw that the doctor is not yet there, I ate my brunch and headed quickly back to the hospital. I think it was my lucky day! After 3 or 4 patients, I already heard my name being called by the secretary, Ate Zen (o diba we're close! heheh).

So as expected, I was prescribed to take fertility pills. I was actually expecting Clomid but this time I need to take 1 tablet of Clostil in the morning and another one in the evening for 5 days. It has actually the same generic name as Clomid - Clomiphene Citrate. So basically, they work the same way. Also, hubby needs to repeat his laboratory test as well. Next check up is on the 13th and that is of course the fertile period. We need to see then lots and lots of eggs on my ovaries during the ultrasound.

Just today, I realize that if my fertile period will be next week and we hit it jackpot, our baby will be one of those many November babies -- thanks to Valentine's Day! These babies were all made during this day. lolz

Saving the Day with Ashop

I just talked to Minnie and she could not contain her happiness regarding the ecommerce software that I have told her. I think I really made a good recommendation with Ashop shopping cart software. She said that these software really have all the features they are looking for. Would you believe that their software has level alerts with stock control as well as inventory control? And one thing she loves the most about Ashop – they have tech support via chat, phone and email for free. That is really great customer service! Everything she wanted for a shopping cart software can be found in just one package.

So by the tone of Minnie’s voice, I am sure Ashop has saved her day. Since she has found the great software that is very appropriate to her online business, she is now confident that her business would grow, sooner or later. She could not wait to get more and more orders because of Ashop.

Globe Oh Globe!

It's quite annoying, really! It did not just happen once but lately globe is always having a server error/maintenance. Just like yesterday afternoon, I was texting my husband telling him that I'll be on my way home na but I just received a message that said: message 49 of 49 not sent. I even thought that probably I no longer have prepaid load but I was reminded that I just loaded 300 prepaid loads last week and haven't called anyone yet. It was just then that it came to me that there is again an error with Globe's server. Grrr!

Anyway, rather than getting so disappointed with this, I just logged on to my Gmail account to text hubby. Thanks to great technology and we have other options. You see communication is really important and thanks to email providers like Yahoo and Gmail for letting us use their services in sending local SMS to our loved ones and friends. Actually, it is a big help since you can send SMS for free. Salamat na lang talga at kahit panay sira ang Globe eh me way pa to communicate. (FYI, hon's other phone is Smart kaya natext ko pa din) Do you think it's time to get a Smart Sim na rin? lols
